Northern Ireland’s First Lifestyle Home Milesian Manor Celebrates Full Occupancy

Our new-concept award winning care home is a first-of-its-kind in Northern Ireland and provides older people with a lifestyle-inspired home in which to fully enjoy their formative years. Our home focuses on providing residents with a complete lifestyle experience and offers residents and day visitors a full programme of events delivered in a collection of specially created spaces, by an expert team of nurses and support staff. The aim is to reflect the activities they may have enjoyed throughout their lives, from dancing and singing to yoga and mindfulness, residents are encouraged to lead independent lives full of enjoyment.

The expert care on offer ranges from residential, respite, nursing and dementia care along with the Milesian Day Club which offers an escape a relaxing support for residents and their families who need more interaction but are still able to live at home. There are over 50 dedicated staff ranging from specialised nurses to fully-trained carers, activity staff, and a dedicated lifestyle team along with in-house cooks creating wonderful fresh home-cooked food on a daily basis and housekeeping staff to ensure that standards are kept consistently high.
